Synchronize Video
Use this workflow when a match is tagged live without video, and the video is added later. Synchronization aligns existing tagged events with the video timeline so events can be reviewed accurately in post-game analysis.
Before You Start
- Create a backup of the game: Game menu -> Download
- Confirm you have access to the correct video file.
Downloading the game creates a local JSON backup you can restore if needed.
1. Add the Video Source
- Open the game.
- Go to: Game menu -> Edit
- Add the correct video source and save.
2. Enable Video Analysis Mode
- Open preferences.
- Switch to Video Analysis mode.
This enables the video controls required for synchronization.
3. Set Period Video Start and End Times
For each period in the match:
- Using the video controls move the video to the start of the period.
- Expand the timer section below the video.
- In the periods table, select Video Start Time for that period.
- Move the video to the end of the period.
- Select Video End Time for that period.

Repeat until all periods have both a start and end time.
4. Run Synchronization
- Click the Synchronize button.
The system updates all tagged events with calculated video timestamps based on your period timing.

Result
Your previously tagged live events are now aligned to video, enabling accurate review, clipping, and analysis.
Note
Complete this synchronization workflow before adding new video-tagged events. If re-synchronization is required after additional tagging, use Studio - Sync Mode.
