Introduction
Welcome to Tagger.
What is Tagger?
Tagger is a professional event-tagging platform with built-in dashboards and reporting. It supports both live and post-game workflows, helping analysts capture events faster and turn data into clear performance insights.
Get started in seconds: create a new game, add team details, select your sport (or define your own), start the timer, and begin tagging.
After tagging, use Video Studio to add graphics and text to clips. Build playlists automatically from the Events Timeline or curate custom playlists manually.
Tagging Engine
The tagging engine supports both player-based and team-based tagging. Select a player or team tag, choose the event and labels, then capture positional and outcome data where applicable. Each event is added to the events table in real time, and the dashboard updates automatically.
Live or Video Tagging
Tagger supports live tagging (without video) and post-game video tagging. For video workflows, add a source in game details (YouTube, Vimeo, or local file), sync the timer to kickoff, and continue tagging with frame-level accuracy.
Each tagged event stores its corresponding video timestamp, making it easy to review clips in Event Viewer from the events table, position maps, and other views.
Dashboard
Tagger includes a customizable dashboard that provides a 360-degree view of game performance, including:
- Summary totals and score
- Timeline, bar, pie, and donut charts
- Position maps with x/y event data
- Passage-of-play insights with outcome context
Reports
Reports are designed for post-game analysis. In addition to embedded dashboard components, reports include a rich text editor for match summaries and support embedded images and videos from the Cloud Workspace.
Cloud Workspace
Access your data from anywhere. Tagger integrates with Google Drive and OneDrive so you can store games, squads, and configurations in the cloud and work seamlessly across devices.
Player Tables
Analyze player-level performance with customizable player tables. Add new columns to existing views or create entirely new table layouts to match your analysis model.
Customization
Tagger is highly configurable. From the Configuration page, you can customize:
- General game settings (players per team, match duration, and more)
- Playing area graphics and zones
- Events and scoring rules
- Totals and timeline graphs
- Charts and position maps
- Player tables
- Passages of play
Share
Tagger exports game and configuration data as JSON. Share files directly with team members for import, or distribute secure cloud links for streamlined collaboration.
